Come hear some spooky stories and a bit of dark history while hiking at night! Meet Ranger Aubrey over at Historic Brushy Mountain Penitentiary for this after-hours hike to the abandoned prison coal mines. We will park at the big field in front of Brushy and carpool to Armes Gap. The hike is approximately 2 miles roundtrip and is moderately difficult. Please bring a headlamp/flashlight, bug spray, water and sturdy footwear. Registration is required, and there is a $5 sign-up fee. Limited to 15 participants, must be 15 years or older to participate.
Important Note: You must arrive on time to ensure you are not left behind.
