PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: Pretzel Constellations: Building the Night Sky [11:30 AM]

Location: Cedars of Lebanon State Park

Join us for a hands-on astronomy adventure as we explore famous constellations and the stories behind them! From mighty hunters to great bears, we’ll discover how ancient cultures connected the stars to create legendary shapes in the sky.

Participants will learn how to spot well-known constellations like Orion, Ursa Major, and Cassiopeia before building their very own edible constellations using pretzels and marshmallows. This creative STEM activity combines science, storytelling, and a tasty treat as we construct star patterns and bring the night sky down to earth!

Perfect for families and young explorers, this program blends imagination and astronomy in a fun, memorable way. Come hungry for knowledge — and maybe a snack — as we connect the stars one pretzel at a time!
