Join Us for a Modern Take on Traditional Food Preservation!

Discover the time-honored practice of food preservation through modern canning techniques! In this hands-on class, we’ll focus on making Crushed Tomatoes while covering:

  • How canning preserves food
  • Proper canning practices
  • The science behind canning

This is a great opportunity to learn a valuable skill that helps extend the shelf life of your pantry items while enjoying the process of creating delicious homemade goods.

What You Need to Know:

  • All materials will be provided.
  • Basic kitchen skills required—you should be comfortable using knives, measuring cups, and other common utensils.
  • Safety first! You will be working with hot items, including boiling water, glass jars, and pots. Following instructions and listening to instructors at all times is essential.
  • Class minimum: We require at least four participants for the class to take place. If we do not meet this minimum, the class will be canceled, and you will receive a full refund.
  • You will need to bring something that you can bring home your canned goods. They will be hot, so it need to be something that can withstand the heat from canned Jars.
