This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Explore the native plants and pollinators of Tennessee at Montgomery Bell's Visitor Center. At this event we will look for pollinators in our Visitor Center garden. We will then use a range of tools to identify and document the pollinators in the garden which helps us to determine how effective the pollinator garden is.
Please bring sun protection in the form of clothing or sunscreen, and be sure to bring lots of water!
This program will bring you up close and personal with many insects, including stinging bees and wasps. Take proper precautions and use better judgement when participating. If allergic please alert the program leader and bring an emergency medical device such as an epinephrine or adrenaline delivery device.
In the event of extreme weather such as heavy rain or thunderstorms this program may be cancelled or rescheduled.
