Description: Pollinator Week: Pinecone Birdfeeders
Location: Indian Mountain State Park
Want to make your mark on birds all around you? Did you know that birds pollinate, too?Come create a birdfeeder that you can hang in your backyard or choose a special branch at our park during the program!
This program is recommended for ages 7 to 12, but all ages are more than welcome to attend. All supplies are provided, and please notice that peanut butter is involved. The duration of the program will be around 30 minutes, and we will be at Shelter #3 with optional walking included.
During the program, we will be creating our pinecone birdfeeders and discussing the role our birds play at the park. We'll also consider ways we can contribute to their success in the wild, besides our new treats we've made for them!
