This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Come fly over to Edgar Evins State Park and join SIR Dixie to learn a little bit about our native birds, and craft a bird feeder you can bring home! Conservation comes in many ways, and you can help out your local feather friends though this fun and easy craft!
What you need to know:
· Allergies!
- This program does use peanut butter as one of the key ingredients for our bird feeders. if you are allergic, please reach out to the program host (Dixie Jean Webber) at Dixie.Webber@tn.gov and let us know. We can provide an alternative to peanut butter, but we do need notice in advance.
· This program will last one hour
- Make sure to bring water and appropriate clothing for the weather.
· No hiking required!
- This program will take place at our Park Office. You can either follow the signage within the park, or put in 1630 Edgar Evins State Park Road Silver Point, TN 38582 into your favorite navigation app.
