Join SIRs Kandace and Frankie at Window Cliffs State Natural Area for a late-night viewing party of the annual Perseids Meteor Shower!
This program will start at 8:30 PM and last until 11 PM. During this time, we will have a campfire, where we will cook s'mores and tell some of the stories and legends surrounding the Perseid meteors!
Make sure to bring a camp chair and blankets to stay cozy and comfortable while viewing this amazing celestial event! Also, feel free to bring any personal telescopes or binoculars to enhance your viewing experience!
Since this is an after-hours event, the gates to Window Cliffs will be closed. However, park staff will be there no later than 15 minutes before the program to open the gates so participants can enter the parking lot.
Spots are limited, so you must preregister in order to attend this event.
