Description: Perseid Meteor Shower Kayak Float

Location: Old Stone Fort State Park

Join Ranger Dominic for a late night kayak float on the Duck River as we look for meteors from the Perseid Meteor Shower. On this float, we will be leaving from the boat launch and looking for the remnants of Swift-Tuttle Comet as it last passed by Earth in 1992! Don't forget to bring water, bug spray, and clothes you don't mind getting wet. All necessary canoe equipment (paddles, canoes, and PFD's) will be provided.
