This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Ranger Bill Morton for a moderate 1 1/2 mile hike through the Narrows of the Harpeth. We will hike along the upper banks of the Harpeth River to where a 300-foot, hand carved tunnel lies. We will discuss Montgomery Bell’s unique and colored history and why he created this engineering marvel. There will be an option to take an additional strenuous hike to the top of the Bluff Trail to see spectacular views of the Harpeth Valley below. This hike takes approximately one hour, and please wear suitable shoes for rocky terrain.
