This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Just in time for school, plant your own Purple coneflower in a pot you painted and watch it grow throughout the rest of the year!
This program is intended for ages 8 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Our Purple coneflower is an iconic species here in Tennessee and one we love dearly here at CHBSP. It important to plant native plants such a this one to provide habitat and food to native pollinators and overall health to Tennessee's ecosystem. Do your part today by registering for this event!
This event will take place on the park grounds on a nearby picnic table. We will go over the flower, what to expect, and begin our program. We will finish it off by planting our coneflower and SIR Hannah B. will send you off with instructions to care for your new friend!
To prepare for this program please see the Essential Eligibility Criteria attached below.
In the event of inclement weather this event will be cancelled.
