This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Many people are familiar with the infamous Tennessee Tri-star, but do you know the history of its development and symbolism in relation to parks? Join Park Ranger Stephanie in the Rec Hall for a fun and informative wood craft on Saturday, July 26th at noon. Participants can choose between a 12" round Tri-star or a Tennessee state shape with a smaller Tri-star within it. This craft will require the use of strong glues and paint sealers. Children must be supervised at all times if they will be attending.
The Rec Hall is an accessible building with restrooms and a water fountain/filtered bottle filling station. Please feel free to bring your own hydration/snacks if you so desire.
The fee covers the cost of materials and supplies. The woodwork was completed locally at West Fork Screen Printing & Embroidery. Thank you for supporting local businesses & Tennessee State Parks.
