Location: Edgar Evins State Park
Join SIR Dixie to learn the importance of promoting native flora, the harms of invasive species, all while creating your own personal keepsake!
In this program, we will be painting ceramic pots and planting the seeds of flowers that are native to Tennessee. Take this time to relax, and learn a little bit more about the wonders of Tennessee!
What you need to know:
- All materials are provided
- We will be providing ceramic pots, paint, potting soil, and a variety of native flower seeds. (having a green thumb is suggested, not required)
- This program will be 1 hour long.
- This is the time allotted so that you can fully express yourself, take your time and enjoy the meditative experience!
o Be sure to bring a snack and water. Its always important to fuel your body for your adventures!
- This program will take place at our Interpretation Center. You can either follow the signage within the park, or put in Edgar Evins State Park Interpretive Center & Aviary, Edgar Evins, State Park Road, Silver Point, TN 38582 into your favorite navigation app.
- The Interpretation Center is indoors and has air conditioning.
