Join Montgomery Bell State Park and The Old Growth Forest Network for a special dedication event!
Please meet at the Park Office Shelter at Montgomery Bell State Park at 1pm on May 17 to celebrate a forest in Montgomery Bell State Park joining the Old-Growth Forest network. The event will be a 2 hour experience including short remarks from park staff and OGFN honoring the forest's stewardship followed by a guided tour through the old-growth forest and special Birds of Prey program. This program is free and open to the public.
The hike is approximately 2 miles with limited elevation gain, please come prepared for this hike with your own water bottle, environmental protection like sunscreen or bug spray, snacks as needed, and comfortable footwear for all terrain.
