Join us at Window Cliffs for an October Big Day birding event! We are hosting a birding event for October Big Day in hopes of having some data added to a cumulative list of birds found in Putnam County. You are able to bird at your own pace on either our Fireline Trail or Window Cliffs Trail. There will be a QR code in the kiosk at the parking lot that will have a form you can fill out so you can give your eBird account information to have your data uploaded.
Big Day is 24-hour birding challenge where people try to identify as many birds as possible. This event is globally recognized and is organized by eBird. You do not have to be an expert birder to participate!
Remember to bring water, snacks and your binoculars. You are welcome to bring a camping chair if you would like to sit along the trail while looking for birds.
