Description: Natural Movement: Strength and Balance for Hikers
Location: Natchez Trace State Park
Join Ranger Caden on 11/19 at the Visitor Center at 10AM for a class that emphasizes natural movement skills essential for real world performance. We'll be practicing many skills, but will primarily focus on two main categories:
Locomotive skills (walking, running, jumping, crawling, climbing)
Manipulative skills (lifting, carrying, throwing, catching)
This class will not only help you gain the skills to be trail-ready, but to be more capable in everyday life as well. This class will scale to all fitness levels, so don't worry. It will not be intensive since we will be focusing on individual skills and mobility.
Please wear clothing that you can move comfortably in, and that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
