Join seasonal ranger Kat and ranger Garrison for a tasting of teas made from herbs gathered at Rock Island! This is a great way to connect with the land and enjoy some earthy herbal teas. Come learn how to identify these plant species so that you can forage and make teas of your own. A full list of herbs and ingredients will be provided at the beginning of the program to help accommodate any allergies. Please do not drink the tea if you have any concerns about having an allergic reaction. Bathrooms will be available throughout the program. Bring water, a snack, and your curiosity!
