Description: Native Grassland Fields Tour
Location: Cumberland Trail State Park
Have you been curious about the new trails at the Head of Sequatchie, and the native grassland pollinator fields?
Join Ranger Martinez as we explore the fields! We will try to identify some native pollinators, and discuss the difficulties that can come with field management in Tennessee.
We will hike less than 2 miles roundtrip as a group, but participants will have a chance to continue on at the halfway point if they wish to hike further (independently from the program/group).
We will meet at the Head of Sequatchie Visitor Center (270 Glyph Pkwy, Crossville, TN) at 12:00PM Central. Please bring adequate hiking apparel and water/snacks. We recommend bug spray and sun protection as well.
Reach out to Ranger Lydia at lydia.martinez@tn.gov with any questions.
