Have you ever stopped to wonder what kind of moths live in your area? What about what kinds of trees are nearby? Moth sheeting (also known as skyfishing) is a great way to get to know your nocturnal neighbors up close and personal while learning about the ecosystem around you.
This program is recommended for anyone who wants to know more about moths and their importance to us and our environment. The program will last about one hour, during which we will watch and discuss the moths that we can find in Tennessee. At the beginning of the program we will meet at the visitor center and walk out to the park where our moth sheet is set up.
In the case of inclement weather this program will be cancelled or rescheduled. If the program is cancelled you will receive a text on the phone number you provide during registration, and we will attempt to reschedule for the near future.
