Come watch the full moon rise above the high forested ridges! December's full moon is called the "Cold Moon." Cold or not, we'll enjoy a fine 2 mile hike through the gathering dusk, and then "toast" the rising moon with a Moon Pie. We'll supply the snacks, you supply the moonlit enthusiasm!
Be sure to come dressed for the weather, and wear good hiking boots. (It's a mostly uphill hike to the view, with a few steep and rocky places.) Also be sure to bring a flashlight for the walk back down..
Meet at the big parking lot uphill from Park Headquarters (former pool parking lot).
