Description: Mini Edible Birdhouse
Location: Cumberland Mountain State Park
Join us as we explore an eco-friendly way to support our local bird populations! Participants will transform pre-made wooden birdhouses into nutritious feeding stations using a variety of healthy, natural ingredients.
This hands-on program is designed for adults and children ages 5 and up.
Together, we’ll discuss the importance of providing supplemental food sources, how these edible birdhouses can benefit local bird species, and simple ways to encourage wildlife sustainability in your own backyard.
Once the food coating has been enjoyed by your feathered visitors, you can easily reapply ingredients to continue providing nourishment throughout the season—all without leaving any waste behind.
This program will take place at Recreation Lodge next to the swimming pool.
Space is limited so pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is January 23.
In the event of program cancellation those registered will be notified by email.
