Description: Martha's Pretty Point Hike - Fall Colors

Location: Scott's Gulf Wilderness

Join SIR Katherine in a 4.5-mile loop hike located on the Virgin Falls Trail. We will meet at 10:00 am at the Virgin Falls Ranger Station, then hike via the Upland Trail out to Martha's Pretty Point for spectacular view out over Scotts Gulf. From there, we will climb down the ladder and head on back out across the Cable Crossing, and up by Big Branch Cascades. Although this 4.5-mile hike is listed as moderate, there is the ladder climb and some elevation change and uneven footing on the way out. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy hiking boots and bring plenty of water and a light lunch. Walking sticks, shorts, and cameras recommended.
