This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Practice your historical culinary skills by making (and tasting) your own homemade butter! Before the grocery store made butter easily accessible, people had to churn their own right at home.
Join Park Interpretive Ranger Andrea Price to learn more about this historical chore and how you can make your own butter right at home. After hearing how butter was once churned, you will be able to shake your own butter and taste-test different seasoned butters to take home! All materials and ingredients will be provided.
We will meet at the Miller Farmstead at 3:00PM.
