This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Come learn how animals leave their mark, while making animal track bookmarks.
This program is designed for adults and children who are interested in learning about clues that animals leave behind, like their tracks.
Animal tracks are a wonderful way to identify the presence of wildlife. Each track tells a story of the animals’ life and behavior such as otters' webbed feet, bobcats’ ability to retract its claws, and opossum’ opposable thumbs. Tracks can also give us clues about where an animal has been or where it is going. What kind of marks do you leave behind?
During this event we will create bookmarks so that you can leave your mark just like animals do!
This event will take place in the park’s museum. All supplies will be provided by the park. To prepare for this program please read the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria.
In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled.
