Join park staff for a fun, illuminated night hike! On July 19th at 8:30 PM on the Pin Oak Trail we will explore the woods after dark by lantern light! This guided hike will take you through the sights, sounds, and surprises of the park at night. We'll listen for owls and frogs, talk about nocturnal wildlife, and discover how nature changes when the sun goes down. The trail is about 2.1 miles as we head to Pin Oak Shelter 1 and back.
Make sure to bring a lantern or flashlight, water, bug spray, and sturdy shoes.
Come experience the trail like never before, after dark!!!
