Description: Evening Kayak Float
Location: Harrison Bay State Park
Pre-registration is required for the program.
Individuals must be 10 years of age or above to participate.
Join HBSP Interpretative Staff for a kayak float around Chickamauga Lake!
Learn about the history that lies under the water around Harrison Bay while taking in the views of the lake.
Perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers, this excursion costs $15 per person, and all essential gear—including kayaks, life jackets, and paddles—is fully provided. However, if you have a Type 3 lifejacket please feel free to bring it!
Participants should come prepared for a day in the sun by wearing clothing and shoes that can get wet, and are highly encouraged to bring along their own sunscreen and plenty of drinking water. Spaces are limited for this scenic paddle, so secure your spot today and get ready to enjoy a refreshing paddle on the water!
We will meet for the program at 7:00 p.m. by shelter 3 (located near the playground and basketball courts) and will be returning by 8PM.
