Description: Rocky Fork Jr. Ranger Camp - Creek Exploration Day
Location: Rocky Fork State Park
June 17 | Creek Exploration Day
Join Interpretive Ranger Amanda and get ready to get your feet wet as we explore the hidden world of Rocky Fork’s creeks! Jr. Rangers will investigate creek critters and discover why salamanders, crayfish, aquatic insects, and other stream life are important indicators of a healthy ecosystem.
Campers will enjoy hands on exploration in the creek, use nets and field gear, and learn from a special guest speaker about the different fish species found at Rocky Fork State Park.
Required Items:
• Water shoes
• Towel
• Change of clothes and shoes
• Refillable water bottle
Lunch will be provided for registered children only
We will be meeting at the Campfire Interpretive Area.
Drop off is between 9-9:30am and pick up will be promptly at 1:00pm
