Join Interpretive Ranger Amanda at the Interpretive Campfire to discover some of nature’s coolest creations, mushrooms! This program is suitable for beginners to intermediate fungi enthusiasts alike! We will discuss some common fungi that grow right here in Rocky Fork and East Tennessee! In this program you will learn the first steps on how to properly ID a mushroom, along with some interesting facts along the way. This hike will be roughly 3 miles, on and off trail. Please wear proper hiking boots, pants and water for hydrating.
In the event of severe inclement weather, this program will be rescheduled. If only light rain, this program will still commence, just be sure to weather suitable rain gear.
