Join Interpreter Hannah for to learn how plants and animals interact in a ecosystem. Some of the topics that will be discussed are what all living things need to survive, competition among species for resources, and ecosystem carrying capacities.
It will begin at 10AM at shelter 2 on the day use side of the park. This program will end at Noon. There will be multiple topics and activities during this time period. It is $5 per homeschooler. Registration is REQUIRED. Homeschoolers need to have an adult with them throughout this program. Program content will be targeted towards 1st-5th grade standards, but all students are welcome!
Make sure they dress appropriately for the weather as we will be outside, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and snacks as needed. there will be several small breaks for kids to go to the bathroom and give their brains a break.
