This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Living in the wild can be tough! Birds face predators, harsh weather, droughts, and food shortages, yet they have incredible strategies to help them survive. Join us to discover how birds adapt to these challenges through fun, hands-on activities. Participants will play an interactive survival game and observe real bird behaviors to better understand how these amazing animals thrive in the wild.
This program is part of our monthly Homeschool Birding Club and is recommended for children ages 6–12. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 10:00 AM. Be prepared to walk 1–2 miles on easy trails. For more details about the route we will take, read the Essential Eligibility Criteria. New participants will receive a birding journal to record their visits to the park and the birds they observe.
The cost of this program is $5 per student.
Please come prepared with good walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a water bottle. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
