This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
If you have a curious kid (age 8-12) who gets excited about watching birds and other wildlife, join us for the our monthly bird program just for kids. Each month we will play games, get creative, and learn about different birds that live in the park.
Have you ever found a bird's nest and wondered who made it? Some birds nest on tree branches, but others prefer birdhouses, hollow trees, or even lay their eggs right on the ground. We'll learn about the many kinds of nests that are found at Seven Islands and a ranger will lead you on a walk to see some of the most interesting nests in the park.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please come prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
*Pre-registration is required for this program.
