Ranger Monique will teach you how to make lye soap from scratch! You'll learn a centuries-old skill with a modern twist. We will be working with caustic materials so you will need to wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. At the end of the lesson, you'll take home your very own mold filled with about 2 pounds of soap you made yourself! We will be focusing on winter colors and smells.
Due to the caustic materials being used, all participants must be 16 years or older.
