Ranger Monique will teach you how to make lye soap from scratch! You'll learn a centuries-old skill with a modern twist.
We will be working with caustic materials so you will need to wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. At the end of the class, you'll take home your very own mold filled with about 2 pounds of soap you made yourself!
Due to the caustic materials being used, all participants must be 16 years or older.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
