Join us on the longest night of the year for a tour through Port Royal's Christmas past at 5:00 PM. Guests can sip hot cider while journeying through the historic townsite with a Ranger to hear how people in 19th century Port Royal celebrated Christmas.
During the winter months, when the days grew colder and the nights ever shorter, you might find gatherings of friends, families, and acquaintances telling scary stories around a warm fire. The Red River Valley certainly has its share! After the tour, guests can warm up inside the historic 1859 Masonic Lodge & General Store and hear historic spooky stories.
The majority of the event will be outside, so dress warmly! The outdoor portion of the tour will last about 45 minutes. After the tour, guests will follow Rangers to the Lodge and General Store where they'll hear historic ghost stories from the Red River Valley.
Hot drinks will be provided. No alcohol permitted per Tennessee State Park rules.
