Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger John Wallace for a beginner-friendly hike along the Meadow Loop Trail, exploring the historical uses of the park’s diverse flora by the Overhill Cherokee and white settlers over time, showing how even plants can reveal a site’s history.
We will meet in the first kiosk near the entrance of the park. Bathrooms will not be available on the trail. Wear breathable clothes appropriate for hot weather and light activity and bring water. Visitors of all ages are welcome. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
We have limited available slots, so registration is required.
