Description: Early Morning Hike to the Top of Cummins Falls
Location: Cummins Falls State Park
Join us for an early morning adventure at the stunning Cummins Falls State Park! We’ll begin our hike at the Visitor Center and journey approximately 1.5 miles round trip. This moderate hike will take us along scenic trails to the Waterfall Overlook, offering breathtaking views of one of Tennessee’s most beautiful natural features.
From there, we’ll follow the Blackburn Fork State Scenic River upstream to the top of the waterfall. Be prepared to get your feet wet as we navigate through shallow water and over smooth, slippery rocks. Proper footwear is essential—no flip flops. We recommend an old pair of tennis shoes or sneakers that can handle getting wet, and don’t forget a dry pair for the ride home.
Expect a moderate challenge with some elevation change, uneven terrain, and plenty of adventure. The reward? Immersive natural beauty, the sound of cascading water, and a unique perspective of Cummins Falls you won't soon forget.
What to Bring:
