Join us for a hike at John and Hester Lane Cedar Glades State Natural Area. John and Hester Lane Cedar Glades State Natural Area is located in Wilson County adjacent to the Cedars of Lebanon State Forest. The natural area is picturesque and comprised mostly of open grassland with some patchy woodlands associated with cedar glades. The high-quality habitat supports numerous rare and unique plants, including large populations of leafy prairie clover and Tennessee purple coneflower, among others. Participants will need to wear appropriate footwear and be capable of hiking a total distance of approximately two miles along gentle terrain at a slow pace. There are no established trails within the natural area.
