Get a head start on your Earth Day celebrations and join us for a guided hike at Fate Sanders Barrens State Natural Area in Rutherford County. We will spend the morning exploring the barrens, cedars glades, and cedar forest plant communities located along the shores of Percy Priest Lake. We will also see recent barrens habitat restoration within the Natural Area. Participants will need to wear appropriate footwear and be capable of hiking a total distance of approximately two miles over gentle terrain at a slow pace.
