Join Ranger Ashlyn on this adventurous 1.6-mile night hike to Hazard Cave. Experience the park from this unique perspective under the stars as old-fashioned oil lanterns lead the way. Flashlights will not be allowed unless they are equipped with a red lens. Oil lanterns will be provided to all participants. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled. Meet at Hazard Cave parking lot off Hwy 154 at 8:30 pm. There is a $10.00 fee for this hike and $5.00 for children under the age of 10. Hike is limited to 9 participants.
Participants should be prepared by wearing sturdy footwear, appropriate clothing, and bringing a sufficient supply of water. This hike is moderate difficulty and contains some rugged terrain and elevation.
