This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Come camp at Bledsoe Creek State Park and participate in our seventh annual site decorating contest! Judges will cruise around at 7pm looking for décor that tells us that you love fall and Halloween. Please observe Leave No Trace while decorating your site.
First Place will receive three nights of camping at Bledsoe Creek State Park.
Second Place will receive two nights of camping at Bledsoe Creek State Park.
Third Place will receive one free night of camping at Bledsoe Creek State Park.
Winners will be notified by phone Sunday morning! For those looking ahead, next year's Halloween event will take place on October 24, 2026.
Information for the Trunk or Treat hosted by Friends of Bledsoe Creek State Park can be found here. That event is typically held on Raccoon Creek Road from 6pm to 8pm. Please be prepared to walk at least one mile as this route winds up and down our day use road. Glow sticks are recommended for children as the pathways are dark. Parking is available at the boat ramps. Please do not park in the grass unless directed to by an officer. Early arrivals will be directed to stand in a line along the Main Park Road and will not be permitted access to the event area until 6pm.
