Description: Habitat Heroes

Location: David Crockett Birthplace State Park

Join us as we hike our Limestone Creek Trail in search of the Eastern Box Turtle and discover what makes a healthy habitat!

Please dress accordingly for Hiking in East Tennessee Weather and don't forget to bring plenty of water.

What do participants need to bring?

*Sturdy shoes (boots recommended) & a refillable water bottle

What are the conditions going to be like?

Unsteady grounds (both sand and mud)

NO FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO USE, SO (1) PORTABLE TOILET ONLY

Each participant must sign an official TSP liability form before participating!

No children under 10, no pets, carpool if possible. All minors under 16 must have a participating guardian present. All participants will be required to sign a liability form upon arrival.

Meet at Main Park Entrance/ Overflow Parking.

There are only 10 available participant spots for this program.

Registration for this event closes on Friday, July 11th.

ONLY THOSE REGISTERED ARE ALLOWED ON PARK GROUNDS!

In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled. Those registered will be notified by email.
