This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Seasonal Ranger Molly for a slow-paced evening hike on the Road to Recycling trail, focused on the small and often overlooked details of the natural world. During this “Tiny Wonders” hike, participants will take a closer look at the forest floor, trees, and creekside habitats to discover the mosses, lichens, insects, fungi, and other hidden life that often goes unnoticed on a typical walk. This program emphasizes observation and curiosity over distance, with frequent stops to explore textures, patterns, and miniature ecosystems within the park. The hike is family-friendly, though children must be accompanied by an adult. We will be hiking around 1.5 miles on easy terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring water, sun protection, and bug spray.
