Spots are limited, registration is required! There's no better time to explore the autumn woods! Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Molly for a free guided hike along the Christmas Fern and Tall Timbers trails at Norris Dam State Park. This trail is rated as moderate and we will be hiking around 1.3 miles.
We'll take in the fall colors, discover the hidden life beneath our feet, and explore how the forest changes as it prepares for winter. From colorful leaves to evergreen ferns, there's more happening in the woods this time of year than you might think! We will meet by the Tea Room at 5 p.m before heading out on the trail. Please bring comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. This program is free to attend, but spots are limited so you must register in advance.
