Description: Guided Boat Tour of Chickamauga Lake

Join park interpretive rangers for a pontoon tour on lake Chickamauga!
In 1940, the townsite of Harrison was flooded by the TVA, covering centuries of history beneath the Chickamauga Lake. Park Interpretative Rangers will take you on a journey back through time to the Cherokee towns that preceded Harrison, as well as through Hamilton County's history which began right here!
You will also learn about the park's vibrant natural resources, from its diverse shoreline habitats to the majestic bald eagles and other local wildlife that call Harrison Bay home.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Infants count as registered participants. Please ensure your infant is in a U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejacket. The Park does not have infant life jackets at this time.
If you are bringing a wheelchair or walker, please contact the Program Leader. There is space to accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs MAX.
Life jackets will be available for participants and will be required for all passengers. Feel free to bring your own lifejacket if you have one.
We will meet for the boat tour in the park office by the marina. The address to the Marina is 7855 Marina Bay Circle, Harrison, TN 37341
