Join park staff to explore the night sky! Learn the basics of stargazing while getting to use tools such as binoculars and spotting scopes to discover the planets and constellations visible during the new moon.
We will be meeting at the Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course parking lot. We will be walking a portion of the golf course track, so please plan on walking about 0.25 in total on paved path.
Binoculars and spotting scopes will be provided to use during the program. Participants are welcome to bring their own viewing equipment, as well as blankets or lawn chairs, to use during the program.
