This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Interpretive Ranger Amanda at the Rocky Fork Trailhead in the gravel lot for a wild encounter, with no danger, just fur, facts, and fun! Get hands-on with real animal pelts from some of Tennessee’s native creatures, including beaver, opossum, and even black bear. This is a rare chance to see and feel the textures of the wild up close, and to learn what makes each animal unique in our forests. Curious kids and fascinated adults alike are welcome.
