Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger John Wallace for an exploration of 18th century Overhill Cherokee fur hunting and trade, its role in creating Fort Loudoun, and its impact on Overhill society. Feel furs, explore reconstructed Overhill living spaces, and learn how everyday objects and actions can impact an entire region and its people.
We will meet in the picnic pavilion parking. Bathrooms will not be available in the fort. Wear clothes appropriate for hot weather and bring water. Visitors of all ages are welcome. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
