This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
During the 19th century, one of the largest groups of people who traveled along the Natchez Trace were tradesmen who first traveled down the Mississippi River on flatboats to Natchez, Mississippi. Come join SIR August at Cub Lake Picnic Shelter 2 on August 1st at 12:00 PM to learn about the harrowing adventures of these tradesmen and even build your own mini flatboat!
If desired, bring water, bug spray, and snacks.
Program will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
Cub Lake Picnic Shelter 2 is down the road on the right turn just before the Rec Lodge/Cub Lake Trailhead.
