This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Meet Ranger Caden at the Visitor Center on Friday, July 25th at 8am to ruck on our short, 0.7-mile Visitor Center Trail. We will start promptly at 8am to beat the heat! All fitness levels are welcome. Do as many or as few loops as you would like.
New to rucking? Rucking involves walking or hiking while carrying a weighted backpack. Originating from military training, it combines cardiovascular exercise with resistance training, engaging muscles in the legs, core, back, and shoulders while being gentler on joints than running or high-impact workouts.

Make sure to hydrate well the day before. There is a water bottle refill station at the Visitor Center.
