This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Seasonal Staff at Sadie Ford Heritage Farm for a fun, hands-on craft where you’ll create your very own flying butterfly to take home. Using simple materials, you’ll design and assemble a butterfly that can actually “fly,” blending creativity with a bit of playful science.
Once your butterfly is complete, staff will demonstrate how to make it take flight, and then we’ll head outdoors on the farm to test them out together. While exploring, you may also have the chance to observe real butterflies and other pollinators active across the property.
All supplies are provided, and the cost covers materials. Space and supplies are limited.
