This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Fishing from a kayak is a great way to combine two rewarding outdoor activities. At Middle Fork Bottoms, this program offers a chance to learn the what, where, when, and how of kayak fishing.
We’ll cover the essentials of getting out on the water, the types of water best suited for kayak fishing, and practical tips to get you started safely and successfully.
You're welcome to bring your own kayak, paddle, and life jacket. Middle Fork Bottoms also offers kayak rentals, which include paddles and life jackets.
What to Bring:
This program will last approximately one hour, and we’ll be fishing at Paper Shell Lake. Please meet us by driving to Park Entrance 3, (use the provided Google Maps link). A ranger will be waiting in an ATV for you at the entrance from 4:40 to 4:50.
